Viopark

The ecological plantation VioPark is a unique project launched by the DAAC-Hermes holding and its subsidiary Viorica. The main goal of this plantation is the cultivation of eco-pure plants, respecting the principles of permaculture.

VioPark hosts dozens of types of medicinal plants, used as raw materials in the production of our cosmetics. We control all stages of plant growth to ensure ecological purity and a high content of active substances.

The plantation is located approximately 60 km west of Chișinău, near the village of Vărvăreuca, Anenii Noi district, covering an area of 130 hectares. It is situated in an ecologically clean region, near the Dniester River, and includes several interconnected small lakes.

Permaculture, or permanent agriculture, is a design concept for the natural environment and an agricultural system that mimics the relationships found in a natural ecosystem. This approach is also applied at VioPark.

The VioPark project was developed and implemented with the support of Sepp Holzer, an international expert in organic agriculture and a globally recognized leader in the field of permaculture.

The plants in VioPark are not chemically treated, and soil fertilization is done only with substances of natural origin. In these almost wild conditions, the plants develop a high content of active substances and beneficial phytochemicals, such as salvestrols and adaptogens with healing properties.

The vegetable oils, flower extracts, plants, and roots used in Viorica products mostly come from crops that grow in VioPark. This allows us to guarantee the purity and high efficiency of the ingredients.

In 2020, the eco-plantation VioPark obtained official certification according to Law No. 115 regarding organic agri-food production. Adaptogens are substances that increase the body's resistance to stress factors and are essential for maintaining health.
