Payment Methods
Once the Customer has selected the desired products and added them to the shopping cart, the order is finalised through the checkout process. At each step, the Customer is required to provide or confirm the information requested by the system. Up until the payment is authorised, the Customer may review and modify the order details. Registered Customers may consult the full history of their orders at any time in the "My Account" section.
All payment-related details are presented on the Checkout page prior to the confirmation of the order.
VIORICA COSMETIC SRL accepts online card payment as the sole method of payment on viorica.eu.
Customer Type — Individuals and Legal Entities
Orders may be placed both by individual consumers and by legal entities (companies). Where the Customer is a legal entity and requires a fiscal invoice issued in the company's name, the following optional fields must be completed at checkout:
- Company name — the full legal name of the entity, as registered with the competent Trade Register or equivalent authority;
- VAT number / Tax identification number — the company's VAT registration number (e.g. RO12345678 for Romanian entities, or the corresponding EU VAT identification number for entities established in other Member States).
Once these fields are completed, the fiscal invoice will be issued in the name of the legal entity indicated. Where these fields are left blank, the order is treated as a B2C transaction and the invoice is issued in the name of the individual Customer.
Online Card Payment
Online card payments on viorica.eu are processed exclusively through Shopify Payments, the integrated payment service operated by Shopify International Limited (and its partner acquirers, including Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, where applicable). Shopify Payments is fully certified under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS Level 1), which is the highest level of certification available within the payment industry.
No commission or additional fee is charged by viorica.eu for the use of online card payments.
VIORICA COSMETIC SRL does not collect, process, transmit or store any cardholder data. All payment details — including the card number, expiration date, cardholder name and security code (CVV/CVC) — are entered by the Customer directly within the secure environment operated by Shopify Payments and are processed in compliance with applicable PCI DSS requirements and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — "GDPR").
The following cards are accepted: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro, subject to the issuing bank's authorisation of online transactions. Additional payment methods supported by Shopify Payments (such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay) may also be available at checkout, depending on the Customer's device and region.
All card transactions are subject to validation and authorisation by the card-issuing institution. Should the required authorisation not be granted, VIORICA COSMETIC SRL shall not be held liable for any delay in, or failure to effect, delivery of the ordered products, and no Contract shall be deemed concluded between the parties.
Transaction Security
SSL/TLS encryption. All pages of the viorica.eu website on which personal data is submitted or payment instructions are issued are protected by SSL/TLS encryption. In order to access these services, the Customer must use a modern browser that supports current SSL/TLS standards, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari or Opera.
3-D Secure authentication. All card transactions processed through Shopify Payments are subject to 3-D Secure strong customer authentication, in accordance with the Revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) and the applicable Regulatory Technical Standards on Strong Customer Authentication (SCA). 3-D Secure is an anti-fraud protocol developed by Visa (Visa Secure) and Mastercard (Mastercard Identity Check) which materially increases the security of online card payments and prevents the unauthorised use of a lost or stolen card. Authentication is performed directly by the Customer's card-issuing bank, typically by means of a one-time SMS code, an in-app confirmation, or biometric verification, and does not require the installation of any additional software.
Currency, Invoicing and Refunds
All transactions on viorica.eu are processed in Romanian Leu (RON), unless otherwise expressly indicated at checkout. A fiscal invoice is issued for each completed order and is made available to the Customer in electronic format, in accordance with applicable Romanian tax legislation. Where the order has been placed by a legal entity and the Company name and VAT number fields have been completed at checkout, the fiscal invoice shall be issued in the name of that legal entity. Any refunds shall be processed to the same payment instrument used for the original transaction, in accordance with the Seller's Returns Policy and the timeframes prescribed by Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014 on consumer rights in contracts concluded with professionals.
